So we had to change the item because this one wasn't engravable on the back but the communication was great and we found an alternative necklace that my mom still loves and with my dad's actual handwritten note on the reverse side of the thumbprint it's just what she needed. Beautifully crafted, absolutely LOVE the necklace. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is bc I ordered the rose gold and only after a few wearings it’s already fading some. I plan to order the sterling silver soon. The craftsmanship of the personal fingerprint is such a wonderful piece you own.

The “medallion” if you want to call it that was smaller than I expected and the chain catches your hair. Other than that it really is pretty and very special to me.
